Hi guys! today I’m writing about my brother’s (Blaise’s) gray 3D printed dragon named Spiky.

Spiky was made in Washington a while back when we went to Josh and Lucy’s wedding. We stopped by the Barshow’s (family friends: Becky, David, Will and Wade) on our way to the airport for a night and that is where Blaise (and Will) printed Spiky. Blaise has been excited about him for days because Spiky didn’t finish by the time we had to leave — 3D printing can take a long time — for the airport so the Barshows had to mail him. Spiky finally came and all Blaise could talk about is how… “Spiky is two feet long! Isn’t moving him back and forth soooooo satisfying!”

I think Blaise’s reaction is pretty cute and Spiky’s not all that bad either so apparently now Spiky, a two foot long 3D printed dragon is apart of the family! In fact Blaise just spent the last few minutes telling me what to type in a thank you text to the Barshows, It went like this:

Dear Becky, Thank you so much for giving me that dragon. I measured it and it is two feet long! I took it to school and showed ALL my friends today. I named him Spiky! ❤️ Blaise
