Sally the Notebook

Hello everybody! Today I’m going to put one of my writing assignments from fifth grade on here. It’s gonna be word for word (with the exception of me making sure it doesn’t have any spelling mistakes). Remember, I wrote this in fifth grade so it’s not going to be perfect but here we go!

Hi there! I’m a notebook named Sally. I am annoyed at how much my human Cora writes in me! Doesn’t she know that having a sharp pencil scraping words on me hurts! Adding to that Cora has never taken me outside! So I have never heard the birds chirping outside or even stopped to smell the roses. I have only ever smelled the old dusty smell from my desk that I am put in every day. I have only ever heard the shouts from Cora and her classmates. Cora’s SUPER nice teacher has saved me many times by stopping Cora from ripping out my two hundred body parts. My spine doesn’t count because you can’t take it off unlike my sister’s who has a spiral spine. Even though she has nearly ripped out my body parts and hurts me with her sharp pencil to this day Cora has loved me like no other.

If you could choose an object to come to life what would it be?

haha! What a take on the perspective of a notebook. I’ll use a felt tip pen from now on 😂

Love this one, Mica! I think I’d choose my coffee mug…”why do you always put hot stuff in me?!”
